Katie Foote has a BSc and BCom from Canterbury University and is a Company Director of New Zealand recruitment firm Graham Consulting.
While leading the South Island team she also specialises in the recruitment of Management & Executive appointments and supporting Executive teams with search assignments and company specific critical hires.
Katie is a member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand and was the first ever elected female President of the Christchurch Business Club (Est. 1931).

Christine (Chris) Korako, wife, mother of four sons, business women and community mataamua (mother) at Rapaki. Currently Chris is a Director of International Inbound Tourism Services, N&C Consulting and Inspired Events, and regularly uses the club for her women’s events and enjoys the Whiteliners group.
Chris has a strong connection with the Charitable sector volunteering, consulting, organising events and Governance including Chair of a circa $600m+ Foundation.
Other interests are cooking, creating relaxing garden spaces, a wide variety of books and providing mentoring to not for profit entities and people.

Clive Antony is the Founding Partner at Antony & Mates, a full-service marketing agency based locally in Christchurch. Clive and his team work with major brands across a range of industries, including tertiary, sports, and government relations.
He has been a member of the club for 5 years and is looking forward to making a contribution to help engage future members from a diverse range of background and networks.

Andrew Hawkes was born and raised in Christchurch and attended Christchurch Boys’ High School and Lincoln University, completing a Bachelor of Commerce and Management (Marketing) and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance. He is a Chartered Accountant and advisor to private businesses, individuals and stakeholders. Having also lived and worked abroad in the UK/Europe and the U.S, his current role focuses primarily as a trusted advisor to private business, charitable organisations, individuals, their funders and stakeholders.
Mr Hawkes became a member of The Canterbury Club in 2010 and has been a proud member of the committee since 2017.
Mr Hawkes brings strategic planning and financial skills to the committee and wider governance experience through his role on advisory boards for large private business and the St Margaret’s College Trust Board where he also holds the role of Chair of the Finance Committee.
“I am married to Sarah who is a practicing GP, and we have three children, Olivia, Harry and Max. As a keen mountain biker, I am passionate about the environment and spend many weekends up in the high country at Lake Clearwater with my family.
Through many years of involvement playing and coaching hockey, I greatly appreciate the values and personal relationships that playing a team sport helps to develop and I enjoy bringing these values to the club as an active member of the club, committee and health club.”

Andrew Hopping was born in Christchurch and educated at St Andrews College later graduating at the University of Canterbury Commerce Faculty. After four years overseas in London working in music television he has returned to New Zealand.
Mr Hopping has been a member of The Canterbury Club since 2001 and an active member of the committee since 2006. His business interests revolve around the furniture and furnishing industry with his companies Montreux Furniture and Designmade.
“I am passionate about all sports and currently a board member of The Elmwood Club development. My wife Andrea also enjoys a membership of The Canterbury Club, especially the gym and my two sons James and Thomas are always keen on any applicable club functions.”

Mr. Paul C Williams

Paul Williams is a qualified quantity surveyor and an executive director of a major construction company. His company was proudly involved with the Club’s building programme after they were selected to complete various upgrades and strengthening projects both before and after the Canterbury earthquakes.
Mr Williams has joined The Canterbury Club in 1987 and has been a member of the committee since 2019. He is particularly interested in the history and heritage of the Club and looks forward to serving on the Committee and utilising his experience in commerce, construction and property management, to ensure a positive and secure future for the Club.
“Together with my wife Sue, I have enjoyed the facilities of the Club on a regular basis. We especially enjoy the convivial and relaxed ambience throughout the Club and the friendliness of the staff and fellow members. We are very appreciative of the consistently high standards and originality of the cuisine in the restaurant and have enjoyed many successful Club and private functions. As an enthusiastic member of the Club subgroup, the ‘Movers and Shakers’, I appreciate meeting other Members on a regular basis over lunch to listen to interesting speakers and the enjoyment of each other’s company.”

Mary has been practising law since 2003 and became a Partner at Harmans in 2015, co-leading the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team. She specialises in civil and commercial litigation, insolvency, debt recovery, estate matters, and employment disputes, and has appeared at all court levels.
Mary previously worked in London in professional conduct and financial services, contributing to the Financial Services Authority’s largest insider-dealing prosecution at the time. In her role she acts for a wide range of clients, from receivers, liquidators and corporate clients to business owners and individuals .
She is active in several professional organisations and serves on the Governance Board of The Village Presbyterian Church Community Centre.
For the past four years, Mary has enjoyed being a member of the Canterbury Club, where she loves spending time with fellow members and her husband, Robin.
